Designated as Maryland’s Preeminent Public Urban Research University, Morgan serves an ethnically and culturally diverse population. Morgan is a Carnegie-classified doctoral research institution.
Enrollment
Morgan’s more than 7,500 students come from all 50 states and numerous foreign countries. About 35 percent of all students are from outside Maryland.

Students may choose from 46 academic programs that lead to the bachelor’s degree, 35 that
lead to the master’s degree, 16 that lead to the doctoral degree, and one that leads to the post- baccalaureate certificate.
