Webster Parent and Family Guide
P. 1

Webster University!
Dear Parents and Families,
On behalf of the entire Webster University community, welcome! We are glad you and your student chose Webster University
as your college “home.” I hope this guide and the webster.edu website will be helpful to you as you learn more about the University and its policies, programs and activities. We are eager to begin this year and know it will be a special one.
Webster has much to celebrate this
year. Browning Hall, the Interdisciplinary Science Building, will open, providing
new labs and classrooms for all Webster students as well as a new home for the College of Arts & Sciences. The Webster University Conservatory of Theater Arts will observe their 50th anniversary in the spring semester. Two new Deans will take the College of Arts & Sciences and the George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology to new heights. Additionally,
the expansion of the Garden Park Plaza will double the University’s parking spaces.
I look forward to seeing you and your student on campus during your time at Webster. Two dates I would like you to add to your calendars are October 19, 2017 for the Browning Hall Dedication and April 21, 2018 for the Conservatory Anniversary Celebration. You can learn more about programs for parents and families by contacting Billy Ratz, Director of Parent & Student Programs, at (314) 968-7007. We encourage you to be involved and to visit campus often; Webster is now your home.
Go Gorloks!
