University of Oklahoma Move-In 2019 — All you need to know!Sooner Parents
Congratulations to you and your family. Your contribution to your student’s success has not gone unnoticed. The support and guidance you have provided has been essential to their UC journey.
UC recognizes our graduating students' achievements by celebrating those successes at the University of Cincinnati Commencement Ceremony. The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremonies will be held May 3–4, 2019. Visit the Commencement website for specific college ceremony, dates and times. In addition to the all-university ceremony, we are proud to provide two optional celebrations for graduates to recognize their many cultures, heritages, and identity groups.
Tyehimba Graduation Celebration: The word "Tyehimba" means "We Stand as a Nation" and is not only a recognition of graduates, but an expression of thanks to faculty, staff, family, friends, and the community for their continued assistance in helping students make it to the finish line. Since its establishment, the African American Cultural & Resource Center (AACRC) has hosted an Afro-centric Graduation Celebration designed for graduates to acknowledge their achievements. The event includes drumming, dancing, call and response, a moving keynote, and much more!
Lavender Graduation: Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony that honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and ally students and their achievements and contributions to the University.
Grad Fest: Is an annual 2-day event inside the bookstore hosted by the UC Bookstore and the Commencement Office. Graduates are able to take care of all their graduation needs during this event. They can order announcements, take early graduation pictures, order class rings, purchase their graduation regalia, take advantage of the many discounted graduation bundles with degree frames and much more.
