University of Oklahoma Move-In 2019 — All you need to know!Sooner Parents
Dear Parents, Guardians and Families,
As we enter the month of November, it is hard to believe we are more than halfway through the fall semester. As faculty, staff and students begin to prepare for the Thanksgiving break, there is no time better than now for us to pause and reflect on the many gifts we have been afforded. Despite ever-present challenges in our lives, this season provides the backdrop for us to be grateful for the people in our lives.
As I reflect, I am humbled by the trust that each of you has put in the faculty and staff of Southern Connecticut State University. You have entrusted us with supporting and nurturing your sons and daughters to become responsible, active, and impassioned leaders. Each of you has made and continues to make sacrifices and provide the support needed for our students to succeed in college. For this I am thankful.
I am thankful for the faculty and staff at Southern who care deeply about the success of your sons and daughters. They are dedicated and loving individuals who spend each and every day supporting, nurturing and challenging your children to develop into mature and caring community members, committed to active participation and ethical leadership.
This is the time of year we are grateful for the kind people in our lives who love and support us so that our students can believe, achieve and succeed. I am personally thankful to each of you who partner with us to create an environment to help our students succeed.
At its heart, Thanksgiving is more than giving thanks. It is a season that provides us time to become aware of the many gifts that life offers. So this thanksgiving season, I ask that you take a moment to give thanks in the most fitting and meaningful way possible.
I wish you and your family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving holiday!
