Student Orientation Weekend

Sooner Parents

Student Orientation Weekend (SOW) is four fun days full of activities and information designed to welcome your student to the University of Oklahoma. The schedule is packed with opportunities to meet great people, get acquainted with the campus and community, and learn about the many services and programs that will help your student succeed at OU.

The dates for SOW 2017 are set for Thursday, August 17 – Sunday, August 20.

If you are making travel plans, you may like to know that parents are welcome to stay as long as they would like, but we typically find that most parents return home sometime Friday afternoon or evening. There are events on Thursday and Friday that parents are more than welcome to attend.

Below is the full TENTATIVE schedule for Student Orientation Weekend 2017 — updates will be posted on the website. We look forward to meeting you soon!
