Join Nature Bound on a six-day trip to beautiful Lake Jocassee for a relaxing trip of kayaking and camping. The Lake is nestled in the Appalachian Mountains in a region known as “South Carolina's little Switzerland.” We will camp under the stars at Devils Fork State Park on the beautiful banks of the river.
This trip is open to first time kayakers. Participants will learn how to paddle, how to re-enter their kayak, and many camping skills as well. Be prepared to paddle an average of 3-4 miles per day. There will be options for individuals to kayak more if they choose.
Included in the trip cost are transportation, instruction, kayaking gear, camping gear and most meals. You will need to bring snacks and lunches, clothing and personal hygiene items.
Prices: Nature Bound Member $120, KSU Students $150, KSU Faculty/Staff/Alumni $225
