SCSU Residence Halls Closing May 17Southern Connecticut State University
All currently enrolled full or part-time undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply for the scholarship monies, provided the minimum requirements below are met. Awards will be applied to the 2019-2020 academic year.
To be eligible for SCSU Alumni Association and SCSU Foundation, Inc. scholarships, undergraduate students must meet the following requirements:
• 2.0 or higher GPA
• 12 undergraduate or 9 graduate credits earned at SCSU by the close of the fall 2018 semester.
Please note that students who are graduating in December 2018 or May 2019 are not eligible to apply.
If your student meets the criteria, please encourage him/her to apply. In this day and age of economic distress, scholarship monies can go a long way in helping out students and families with their academic expenses. In addition to the financial support, earning a scholarship is also an impressive extra bonus in a student’s resume or C.V. when it is time to apply for a job or to pursue further education. Please talk to your student about this wonderful opportunity. Remember, there are more than 300 scholarships available for distribution to eligible students for the academic year 2019-2020, but they must submit the application before the deadline date in order to be considered.
Please advise students to include their SCSU ID number in all correspondence. The online application will close March 15, 2019.
