Priority Course Registration News

By MTSU Parent and Family Association

“It’s Time” to register for Summer and Fall 2017 classes!

Priority Registration for currently enrolled students runs from April 3rd to April 14th. This is an opportunity for MTSU students to sign up for their next two semesters before new students to the university start to register. It is important that students sign up as early as possible to get the classes they need to stay on track for a four-year graduation!

Students should do the following to make sure they can register on time:

  • Check Pipeline for their Assigned Registration Time, the specific date and time they can begin to register for classes
  • Check Pipeline for any holds on their account and resolve them before their Assigned Registration Time
  • See their advisor to discuss what classes to take (all students should check in with an advisor, and some will have a hold requiring them to do so)
  • Plan their schedule, and a backup schedule, to be ready to register (Use the Schedule Planner tool on Pipeline)

Students who wait to register may miss out on ideal class times or even necessary classes for their major. Ask your student if they have met with an advisor and know their assigned registration time. Advising appointments can be made today, so don’t delay. “It’s Time” to get ready for the Summer and Fall semesters!
