University of Oklahoma Move-In 2019 — All you need to know!Sooner Parents
By Justin Koonz
April is the last month before finals start so make sure you check in with your student about how they are preparing for the end of the semester and what their summer plans are going to be. Some students opt to take a Maymester or Summer semester to ensure graduating in a timely manner. On campus housing does not close so students are able to continue living on campus and take classes, but they don’t have to take classes to still live with us.
Spring Fest is approaching, our annual carnival in residence life sponsored by the Residence Hall Association. In years past Spring Fest has had rides, games, inflatables, food, giveaways, a petting zoo, fire breather, and caricaturist, all free for students. Ensure your student follows us on social media for the date/time and location for a great time!
We also host KP Field Day where communities compete against each other to bring home the trophy. Who will it be this year? Residence Life will host our semi-annual Midnight Breakfasts for each community sponsored by each Community Council during finals. Make sure to check our social media posts for free breakfast, energy drinks, and more and take a break from those finals!
This is typically the month where housing starts to fill up in certain areas, so make sure your student is in touch with us to ensure they have a space for fall semester. You can find specific dates on our website and if you have further questions please call the Housing office at 470-578-5483. We look forward to your student living on campus with us in the fall semester.
As always make sure your students are connecting with us on social media to stay informed. You can find our social media links on our website, ksuhousing.kennesaw.edu. You can always contact us at 470-578-4388 if you need assistance or email us at [email protected]
