The on-campus housing application will open soon for Fall 2018. We have not yet released a date; however, continue having those conversations with your students about where they would like to live on campus come Fall 2018.
You can find information about the different communities on our website, and once we have a timeline and pricing information it will be there as well. You may tour the rooms during our office hours, and we have some virtual tours online as well as photos on our Facebook page. If you have further questions after checking our website, please call the office at 470-578-5483 or email us [email protected]
This year, there is a new process for first-year students. Students will access the housing application on our website via the Portal. Once there, the student will log in with their KSU NetID and password. Select “Application” in the top menu bar, then select the term below in which the application is for. The student should complete all the steps in the process.
The final steps are signing the license agreement and paying the housing application fee ($375). After the student does this, a confirmation page will come up stating that we will complete room placements at a later date. First-year students are no longer able to select their own room; however, students will be able to list, in order, three preferences of room choice. If a student wants to select a roommate, that is part of the process, as is indicating any Theme Housing preference(s). If students do not know anyone that they would like to room with, the system will match students based on their answers to profile questions and room type preference.
The Marietta campus does have a live-on requirement — find out more here.
