So many exciting opportunities during this month from Sports and Recreation for your KSU Owl! Whether your student is into intramural sports, biking, power-lifting or would like to get outdoors with Nature Bound excursions, your student is sure to find something they will enjoy.
Registration for Fall Phase II of Intramural Sports starts Monday, October 2! Create your indoor soccer, kickball and 3-on-3 basketball teams by Friday, October 13 at noon to secure your spot to compete for an Intramural Sports champion t-shirt!
Have a crazy schedule keeping you from playing Intramural Sports? Sign up for singles or doubles badminton in Fall Phase II to play your games on your own time. All badminton games will be self-scheduled. Teams are assigned an opponent each week and together they arrange a time to play. Participants are allowed to play in both singles and doubles leagues. Join Outdoor Adventures as we host Bike Day on the Marietta Campus on Monday, October 9! Learn about the bike shops on campus and all of the services available to students. Test your skills on a bicycle obstacle course and play games to win fun prizes and t-shirts!
Find us between Norton Hall and Howell Hall from 3–6 p.m.!

Feeling sore and beat up after all of your workouts at the recreation centers? Come to our Muscle Recovery workshop to learn about foam rolling and myofascial release! These techniques are sure to help tight and sore muscles. Prizes given to the first 10 participants to arrive!
Marietta Campus: October 20, 2–4 p.m. in the Marietta Recreation and Wellness Center, Group Exercise Studio
Kennesaw Campus: October 25, 5–7 p.m. in the Student Recreation and Activities Center, Activity Rooms 2090
Are you looking to show your strength and meet some new friends? The 8th annual Iron Owl will take place on October 28 from 12–5 p.m. in the Student Recreation and Activities Center. Registration is open now!
This competition is a powerlifting style event with a max deadlift, max bench press and max squat. There will be a Men's and Women's Division and participants will be placed in different classes based on weight.
Registration closes on Friday, October 27. The event is open to all KSU students, faculty, staff, alumni and guests.

Nature Bound is part of the Outdoor Recreation Program at Kennesaw State University and provides outdoor pursuits for the KSU community. The program is founded on the principles of experiential learning to develop knowledge, leadership and community. Trips are offered throughout the semester and are available for anyone — novice to expert.
