Many exciting things are in store this year! Auxiliary Services debuts its new name, Campus Services, this month and development begins for the new Talon One Customer Service Centers on both the Kennesaw and Marietta Campuses.
The department oversees Campus Postal Services, Card Services, Copy/Print Services, Door Access, KCash, Parking and Transportation, Student Health Services, University Dining, University Stores, and Vending Services.
"We always strive to be easily accessible to our campus community, and one way we can enhance our service is to change our name to reflect that," says Kasey Helton, Assistant Vice President for Campus Services. "We are also opening the Talon One Center, which is intended to be a customer service hub. We aim to increase our support for student success at KSU by giving students one integrated location to access our departments and services."
Construction for the new Talon One Center at the Kennesaw Campus began at the end of March. The new center will be located adjacent to OwlTEC in the James V. Carmichael Student Center. Another Talon One Center will be on the second floor of the Joe Mack Wilson Student Center, where the Marietta Campus Card Services office currently resides. Both Talon One Centers will open for the fall 2018 semester. Students will go to the Talon One Centers to obtain their Talon Card (campus ID card), manage their Meal Plans, discover Parking and Transportation options and find answers to questions about Campus Services and its related departments.
