Housing is comprised of four communities on the Kennesaw Campus and five communities on the Marietta campus. The Kennesaw Campus has Austin Residence Complex, KSU Place, University Village and University Village Suites. The Marietta Campus has the Columns, Commons Apartments, Courtyard Apartments, Hornet Village and Howell Hall.
We are very excited for this upcoming year and have a lot in store for your students when they live on campus. We moved in over 4,000 students during our move-in experience weekend and had over 3,000 students engaged in our Get In Gear series of events the first week and a half of school.
Your students are now getting acclimated to life on campus and starting classes. If they need help with coursework, we have resources available for them here: ksuhousing.kennesaw.edu/residents/academic-support.php. In September they will have community meetings with their Resident Assistant as well as Roommate Meetings in which they talk through how they want to live together throughout the year. We will also be conducting health and safety inspections of the rooms to ensure the safety of our students and buildings.
If students are having any concerns with their rooms, they can submit a work order online through the Housing Portal, logging in with their NetID and password. They can find the Housing Portal on the main Housing and Residence Life website.
Encourage your students to get involved on campus! Students can join one of the organizations and leadership opportunities found here: www.kennesaw.edu/housing/leadership_involvement.php.
Make sure you are connecting with us on our social media platforms, @HousingKSU and #MyLifeKSU. We are partners in your student's experience on campus and if you ever have questions or need assistance, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you and your student.
