While it may not seem possible, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2018-2019 academic year opens on October 1!
We encourage you and your student to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. You can find the FAFSA at fafsa.ed.gov.
The 2018-2019 FAFSA will use your 2016 Income Tax information. We hope that you will take advantage of the Internal Revenue Service Data Retrieval tool, which will allow you to import your 2016 Income Tax information directly into your FAFSA application.
You and your student will need a FSA ID to sign the FAFSA electronically. Without a FSA ID, you will need to print the signature page, sign it and mail it in before your student’s FAFSA will be processed. If you need to create a FSA ID, please visit: fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm.
If you have any questions about filing the FAFSA for the 2018-2019 academic year, please contact our office by phone at 770-423-6074, email email@example.com, or stop by our office.
We hope you and your student are having a great Fall semester!
