Information from Housing

By MTSU Parent and Family Association

If your student currently lives on campus for the Spring 2018 semester but has not applied to live on campus for the Fall 2018–Spring 2019 academic year, we want you to know that it is not too late to apply for on-campus housing. Although your student missed the priority deadline of February 2nd, students can still apply for on-campus living by submitting a Residential Life Application and the required $300 prepayment as soon as possible. Please be reminded that we DO NOT accept applications without the required $300 prepayment due in full at the time of application. Access to the self-assignment process is given on a first-come, first-served basis by date of completed application process.

  1. Your student may apply in person in the Housing Office at Keathley University Center in Room 300. Prepayment may be made with a credit card, debit card, check, money order, or cash.
  2. Your student may apply online at the Housing section of the MTSU website. Click on “How to Apply.” Prepayment may be made with a credit card, debit card, or on-line check. (Extra $18.00 fee when you apply online.)
  3. Your student may mail in an application with a check or money order made out to MTSU.  Mail to:
    Middle Tennessee State University
    Housing Office
    P.O. Box 6
    Murfreesboro, TN  37132
  4. Your student may fax a completed Residential Life Application to the Housing Office at (615) 898-5459. Your student may also call us at (615) 898-2971 and pay the deposit with a credit card or debit card.

We encourage you to explore our website to learn more about Living and Learning Communities and on-campus apartments. If you have questions, we would be happy to talk with you to help you find the best on-campus environment to meet your student’s needs. You may contact us at housing@mtsu.edu or call us at (615) 898-2971.
