Self-assignment for next year is currently underway! A significant number of current residents who have submitted applications for housing for the Fall 2019–Spring 2020 academic year have already participated in self-assignment. If your student wants to increase the probability of getting the building or room of their choice and wants to be among the first to self-assign for the Fall 2019-Spring 2020 Academic Year, Apply Now! Students may apply electronically or submit their Fall 2019–Spring 2020 application in person by visiting our office located in room 300 of the KUC. Though the priority deadline for current residents is February 1st, please be reminded that self-assignment is awarded on a first come, first served basis. We cannot guarantee the availability of certain room types or facilities, so the earlier you apply the more likely you are to receive your top pick!
The Housing and Residential Life Office is currently accepting housing cancellations for the Spring 2019 semester from students who are graduating from MTSU (and will not be taking spring courses) and from students who are not returning to MTSU for the Spring 2019 term. Requests for Housing License Cancellation must be submitted in writing to the Housing Office in the Keathley University Center, Room 300 in person, by fax (615-898-5459), or emailed to email@example.com. Students living on-campus for the Fall 2018 semester who will also be taking classes for Spring 2019 cannot be approved for contract release, as housing license agreements are for the Academic Year (Fall and Spring).
