University of Oklahoma Move-In 2019 — All you need to know!Sooner Parents
Many fraternities and sororities will be participating in informal recruitment this spring. If your student is currently not in a fraternity or sorority, we would encourage them to come to the FSL Open House on January 23rd from 6–7:30 p.m. in the SU Ballroom to meet our organizations. At MTSU, we have three councils that serve as the umbrella group over our individual chapters. Below is information on how your student can join them:
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at MTSU has seven historically African American chapters composed of of three sororities and four fraternities. To learn more about these groups’ intake process, students should follow them on social media platforms. Groups will announce their programming such as forums, service opportunities and tabling through their social media accounts. Students who are interested should attend these events to get to know the members. For more information, they should contact [email protected].
The Interfraternity Council at MTSU is composed of 11 fraternities. Interested men should attend the IFC sponsored tabling efforts from 10am-2pm on Tuesday, January 16th on the first floor of the Student Union. IFC chapters will host many events to allow potential members to get to know and learn about the different groups on campus. Interested students should contact the FSL Coordinator at [email protected].
The College Panhellenic Council at MTSU is composed of 6 NPC sororities and one associate member sorority. Several organizations will be taking members this spring. Students should follow up on the group’s social media pages to learn more about their informal recruitment events. The associate member group is a Latina Sorority, and their intake process is similar to that of NPHC, and interested students should follow them on social media. Anyone interested in joining a CPH chapter should email [email protected] for more information.
If you have any questions about Fraternity and Sorority Life at MTSU please contact FSL Director, Leslie Merritt, at [email protected].
