The 2018–2019 FAFSA can now be completed. Click here to file a 2018–2019 FAFSA. MTSU’s federal school code is 003510.
The FAFSA is used to determine the student’s financial aid eligibility for Fall 2018 through Summer 2019 for various federal, state, and institutional programs. We recommend that students with financial need file the FAFSA as early as possible, due to the limited funding availability in some aid programs.
If this is the first time you, parents or spouse (if applicable) will be completing a FAFSA, then you, parents or spouse (if applicable) should apply for a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID. The FSA ID is used to login to certain federal websites to access financial aid information and to electronically sign federal student aid documents such as the FAFSA. If you already have a FSA ID, there is no need to apply for a new one. If your name has changed, you will need to edit your FSA ID information.
The 2018–2019 MTSU FAFSA filing priority date is January 16, 2018 to be considered for maximum federal and state financial aid assistance. Don’t delay!
