Flu season is just around the corner and now is the perfect time for your student to get a flu shot and take preventative measures. Kennesaw State University's Student Health Services offers year-round flu shots at any of its three on-campus health clinics. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone should get a flu shot every year — if your student still needs a flu shot this academic year, they should head to one of KSU's health clinics:
Flu symptoms may include a cough, fever, muscle/body aches, sore throat, headache, fatigue and, in some cases, vomiting and diarrhea. In addition to preventing the flu, it's imperative to avoid spreading the flu.
On-campus living often means being in close contact with individuals who might be infected; therefore, it's important for students to take necessary steps to prevent spreading the flu.
