On Friday, October 13, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Robert Spano return to Kennesaw State for a sonic journey of chic, inspired, eclectic and fun works representing the cutting edge of classical music.
First, revel in the fantastical soundscapes of Atlanta-favorite Michael Gandolfi and the world premiere of his Four New Gardens of Cosmic Speculation, the composer's sequel to the ASO's 2009 GRAMMY®-nominated recording.
Then, be dazzled by composer/pianist Dejan Lazić performing his own Piano Concerto "In Istrian Style" followed by a performance of Rachmaninov's Symphony No. 3.
