A Word from the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office

By MTSU Parent and Family Association

File Your 2018–2019 FAFSA

The 2018–2019 FAFSA can now be completed. To file a 2018–2019 FAFSA, click here. MTSU’s federal school code is 003510.

The FAFSA is used to determine the student’s financial aid eligibility for Fall 2018 through Summer 2019 for various federal, state, and institutional programs.

If this is the first time you and parents or spouse (if applicable) will be completing a FAFSA, then you and parents or spouse (if applicable) should apply for a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID here. The FSA ID is used to log in to certain federal websites to access financial aid information and to electronically sign federal student aid documents such as the FAFSA. If you already have a FSA ID, there is no need to apply for a new one. If your name has changed, you will need to edit your FSA ID information.
