University of Oklahoma Move-In 2019 — All you need to know!Sooner Parents
Our spring semester is off to a great start, and I know all of our students have been working hard in their classes. As they settle in to a routine, they also have their sights set on Spring Break. There is still a lot to do before they can enjoy the break, so I hope you will join us in encouraging them to focus on their studies and prepare well for their break.
With midterm tests looming for many, now is an incredibly important time during the semester. UA has a new online home to assist students in locating and connecting with academic assistance, the Academic Resource Hub. This resource can help students study smarter and make the most of their time.
At this time of year, many students will also be looking toward the coming academic year. Registration for Summer and Fall 2017 begins on March 27, so it’s a great time to discuss upcoming advising sessions and plans with your student.
The University of Alabama will observe Spring Holidays from March 11–17. Many of our students will travel during this time, and whether it be home for a visit, abroad for a service trip, or to have some fun with friends, we hope they will make plans for a safe spring break. From securing their homes to making transportation plans, there is a lot to think about. Encourage your student to join us at the Safe Spring Break Fair on Wednesday, March 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Ferguson Student Center Plaza.
Thank you for all you do to support your student, and for letting us be your partners on this journey.

Vice President for Student Affairs
