David Kalish is a novelist, essayist and journalist. He's the author of The Opposite of Everything, an award-winning comedic novel inspired by his misadventures with relationship and disease. His essay, “A Path to Fatherhood, With Morning Sickness,” appeared in The New York Times, and he was a journalist with The Associated Press for 12 years, with articles appearing in The Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Chicago Tribune and other publications. He earned his MFA in fiction writing at Bennington College and lives in upstate New York with his wife, daughter and toy poodle.
